FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Erikka Banks was one of the Big Sky's top players last year as she enjoyed a breakout campaign in her first season as a starter. She earned All-Big Sky honorable mention honors and is a preseason all-conference selection by College Sports Madness heading into her final season. Banks averaged 13.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game last season and was one of four players in the conference to rank in the top-10 in scoring and rebounding while setting a new school record by shooting 59 percent from the field. Take a look at the senior forward from Fresno, Calif. before the Lumberjacks take the court on Nov. 3 with their home exhibition against New Mexico Highlands.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Who would be your dream NBA/WNBA starting five?

Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and Steve Nash.

With the game on the line, would you rather score the game-winning shot or shut down your opponent one-on-one?

Shut down my opponent because it's more team-oriented and not just one player scoring the basket by themselves. Everyone is working together.

What are your strengths as a player?

My defense and penetration.

What are your personal goals for the season?

Of course win the Big Sky Championship and get better every day.
