What's your favorite quote?
"Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming." – John Wooden
What's your philosophy on how to improve your game?
For me, my biggest things are my mentality and confidence. That's where I have struggled, so my philosophy is that I have to think of the things that keep me going and what motivates me in life, which is my family and friends.
If it came down to a game winning dunk or a game winning three-pointer, which one would get you more hype?
I'd say a shot, because I've been a part of two of them - Que's (Quinton Upshur) at Weber State and Stallon's (Saldivar) at Arizona State. I feel like for some reason when you see that shot go in and the buzzer goes off, it's like "We beat it. There's nothing they can do." I think that's what makes me choose a shot over a dunk.
What five players would make up your NBA Dream Team?
My five players would be Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Shaquille O'Neal.
What's your personal goal for the season?
My personal goal is to be one of the top rebounders in the conference, and to be one of the top players at my position in the country. I want to average at least 10 points per game, be a great defender, make first team all-conference and win a ring.
