Lumberjacks Tabbed No. 22 in National Poll

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Northern Arizona football was voted No. 22 in The Sports Network FCS Top 25 Poll released today. The Lumberjacks are coming off their fourth straight Big Sky victory with a win over UC Davis.

The Lumberjacks never trailed against UC Davis, as they captured a 23-21 victory over the Aggies in NAU's Hall of Fame Game. NAU jumped out to a 13-0 lead as it remained unbeaten at home this season in the Walkup Skydome.

Junior quarterback Jordan Perry earned his second straight career start, as he threw a pair of touchdowns and tallied 208 passing yards. Senior wide receiver Ify Umodu registered 76 receiving yards and one touchdown, while redshirt freshman Corbin Jountti tallied 58 rushing yards and an additional 23 receiving yards. Senior linebacker Craig Frum had a team-high eight tackles, including a six-yard sack that resulted in a forced fumble.

NAU will travel to North Dakota this week. Kickoff at the Alerus Center is set for 11 a.m. AZ time.
