Men's Tennis Adds 2015 Recruit Tim Handel

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The Northern Arizona men's tennis team has added one more piece to the puzzle as head coach Ki Kroll announced the signing of 2015 recruit Tim Handel.

"I am very happy about the signing of Tim," said Kroll. "I believe he will make an immediate impact for our team. Not only is he an exceptional player, he is committed to excellence and brings a strong work ethic with him."

Handel comes from Reutlingen, Germany where he was ranked No. 233 in the Men's Division in Germany.

Kroll continues to bring some of the best talent from all around the world after a successful first season in Flagstaff where the Lumberjacks went 13-9, the most wins since 2010. Northern Arizona enters the 2015 season after a third place finish in the Big Sky in 2014 after being picked to finish eighth in the preseason.

Due to the success of last season, Kroll has been able to bring in quality talent like this year's freshmen class in Harun Ajanovic, Tomas Hons, Jackson Lee, Eden Peleg, Felix Schumann and Adi Zilberstein and now you can add Handel to the group.
