NAU Football Tabbed No. 25 in Latest Poll

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Northern Arizona football was voted No. 25 in The Sports Network FCS Top 25 Poll released today. The Lumberjacks are coming off their third straight Big Sky victory, after a 29-22 win on the road at Weber State.

The Lumberjacks battled wind and rain to come back from a 22-point deficit to beat Weber State. The win snapped a four-game losing streak to the Wildcats, in the first meeting since 2011.

Quarterback Jordan Perry finished 23-for-29 with 239 yards and a pair of thrown touchdowns in his first career start. NAU went on a 29-0 run to capture the victory and crack the Top 25 for the first time in The Sports Network Poll since the third week of the season.

NAU will host UC Davis this Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Walkup Skydome in its Hall of Fame game.
