DENVER, Colo. – Junior Chelsea Jackson was named the Western Athletic Conference's Women's Diver of the Week for the second time this season, and fourth time in her career, after winning the 1-meter competition in the Northern Arizona swimming & diving team's dual meet victory against New Mexico State last Saturday.

Jackson helped the 'Jacks to victory over their conference rival Aggies in the team's Wall Aquatic Center opener. Jackson won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 276.67, beating her nearest competitor by over 30 points. The win marked her fourth during the dual meet season. She also finished third on the 3-meter with a score of 235.27. The Flagstaff native led a solid performance by NAU's divers as the Lumberjacks claimed three of the top four spots in each diving event.

Both the Lumberjack swimmers and divers will take part in the UNLV Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev. from Dec. 13-15.
