Andersen and Taylor to Represent NAU at World Junior Championships

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Brooke Andersen and Ashley Taylor are set to represent Northern Arizona University at the IAAF World Junior Track & Field Championships from July 22-27 in Eugene, Ore. The meet will be held at at Hayward Field.
Andersen will represent Team USA, after qualifying for the women's hammer throw. She placed second in the event at USATF meet earlier this month with a mark of 184-58 (56.26m) to make the world team. Andersen will compete on July 22 at 5:30 p.m.
Taylor, who will represent Team Canada in the 400-meter hurdles, entered her finals with the second fastest time in the prelims at 59.79. Running faster in the finals, she registered a time of 59.44 to garner a second place finish and a spot on the team. Taylor will run at 12:45 p.m. on July 24.
