Lumberjack Golf competes at Oregon State

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.- Northern Arizona women's golf competes at the Oregon State Invitational today and tomorrow in Corvallis, Ore. on the Trysting Tree Golf Club.
The Lumberjacks tee-off both days at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start on the par-72, 6,256 yard course. They play two rounds on Monday and conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday.
They face two Big Sky opponents at the invitational – Montana, Portland State and Eastern Washington. The 'Jacks met with Montana at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic and were out-shot 609-622 on the first day. The second day was cancelled due to rain leaving the Lumberjacks in 10th and the Griz in fifth.
Also competing in Corvallis are Boise State, Hawai'i, High Point, Oregon State, San Francisco and South Dakota State.
Last week, Kim Cifuentes led the Lumberjacks in a tie for 12th place and score of 150 (+9). She posted five birdies and was even on par-3 holes. Freshman Kaitlyn Saum had a strong showing at her first collegiate tournament posting an eagle was two-under on par-5 holes.
