FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – This weekend, the Northern Arizona University women's tennis team will hit the road for Tucson, Ariz. to compete in their second fall invitational this season at the University of Arizona starting Friday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Oct. 4. The Lumberjacks are coming off some strong performances at the Rebel Invite the weekend of Sept. 25 and look to build off this momentum.

Last weekend, sophomore Blanka Szavay and freshman Hanneke Lodewijks, in their first doubles debut, upset No. 41 Ole Miss to advance to the finals. Freshman Eirene Granville also finished third in her draw posting a 2-1 record in singles play.

The University of Arizona is playing host to eight schools in this weekend's Wildcat Invitational. In addition to NAU, Tulane University, the University of New Mexico, Marquette University, the University of Texas at El Paso, Utah State University, Pima Community College and the University of Texas at San Antonio will also be competing.  

Day-by-day results will be available on the schedule at the end of every day starting Friday, Oct. 2.
