Balloon Fiesta Invitational Results

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – This weekend, the University of Northern Arizona men's tennis team competed at the Balloon Fiesta Invitational at the University of New Mexico. Head Coach Ki Kroll and his squad of Lucas Taylor, Eden Peleg, Adi Zilberstein and Jackson Lee picked up two singles victories and four doubles wins in their second fall invitational of the 2015 campaign. Highlighting the weekend was doubles pair Peleg and Taylor who advanced to the consolation finals after three straight wins to get there. With a final score of 8-1 in the championship round, Peleg and Taylor trumped New Mexico State University's Stijn DeHaan and Donovan Cellupica.

Taylor and Lee also picked up wins for Northern Arizona over Zach Fryer from the University of Denver and Alvaro Godoy from the Air Force Academy, respectively. Zilberstein and Lee added to NAU's doubles win total defeating Abilene Christian University's Sebastian Langdon and Cole Lawson 8-6 in the consolation quarterfinals.

The Lumberjacks have a full week of practice ahead of them until they hit the road for ITA Regionals on Wednesday, Oct. 21 and will compete through Sunday, Oct. 25.
