NAU Men's Tennis Set for Competition at ITA Mountain Regionals

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona University men's tennis team is set to compete at the 2015 ITA Mountain Regional Championships at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M. Oct. 21-25. All eight Lumberjacks will compete for head coach Ki Kroll.

The Lumberjacks will be one of 12 teams in attendance this weekend among other regional foes University of New Mexico (UNM), Weber State (WU), Brigham Young University (BYU), Utah State (US), New Mexico State University (NMSU), Boise State University (BSU), Denver University (DU), Air Force Academy (AFA), University of Montana (UM), University of Idaho (UI) and University of Utah (UU).

Two weekends ago, doubles pair Eden Peleg and freshman Lucas Taylor captured the consolation finals at the UNM Balloon Fiesta Invitational. Taylor also made a splash in singles at the Lumberjacks' first fall invitational at the University of Arizona beating UNM's Sean Baklini and U of A's Oliver Plaskett to qualify for the semifinals.

Following regionals, only two tournaments remain for the 'Jacks in their fall campaign. They will attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Easley Fall Invitational (Oct. 30-Nov. 1) and finish out the season at the Grand Canyon Invitational Nov. 6-8.
