BIG SKY TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona volleyball team will host the 2015 Big Sky Volleyball Championship this week in the Rolle Activity Center after winning their first outright regular season title in school history. The Big Sky's top eight teams will converge in Flagstaff, all vying for the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The three-day tournament will start on Thursday, Nov. 19 with four quarterfinal matches, with the semifinals being held on Friday, Nov. 20 and the championship on Saturday Nov. 21.

Tickets for the tournament are available for purchase now by calling 928-523-5661 or ordering online HERE. The ticket office at the Rolle Activity Center will be open one hour prior to the start of the first match of each day and will remain open throughout each of the matches during the tournament. Ticket pricing can be found below.

All NAU students will receive free admission with a student ID.

NAU, the top overall seed, will open the tournament at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the final match of the day. The Lumberjacks will face eighth-seeded Southern Utah. With a win on Thursday, NAU (25-4 overall record) would tie the school record for wins in a season.

Session One

Match 1: No. 2 Idaho vs. No. 7 North Dakota – 10:30 a.m.

Match 2: No. 3 Idaho State vs. No. 6 Eastern Washington – 1 p.m.

Session Two

Match 3: No. 4 Sacramento State vs. No. 5 Northern Colorado – 4:30 p.m.

Match 4: No. 1 Northern Arizona vs. No. 8 Southern Utah – 7 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 20 (Semifinals)

Session Three

Match 5: Winner Match 1 vs. Winner Match 2 – 4:30 p.m.

Match 6: Winner Match 3 vs. Winner Match 4 – 7 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 21 (Championship)

Session Four

Match 7: Semifinal Winners – 7 p.m.
