Men's Basketball Hosts Norfolk State Monday Night

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona men's basketball team will play its second straight home game on Monday, Nov. 30, when it welcomes Norfolk State to Flagstaff. Tip-off at the Walkup Skydome is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Fans in Flagstaff can listen on Hits 106.1 FM. Prescott fans can hear the game on 97.9 FM Eagle Rocks, while in the valley the game can be heard on MoneyRadio 1510 AM & 99.3 FM. Scouting the Spartans
• Norfolk State is 1-4 on the season.
• Head coach Robert Jones is in his third season with the Spartans with a 40-33 overall record.
• NSU's only win so far this season is a 78-58 rout of Washington Adventist. Three out of its four losses has been by 15 points or less.
• Sophomore forward Jordan Butler, who is averaging 7.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game, is the reigning MEAC Defensive Player of the Week. Butler tied the school record for single game blocked shots (7) during the Paradise Jam tournament in the Virgin Islands. Butler tallied 13 blocks and 27 rebounds in the three-game span.
• NSU fell to the Lumberjacks' opponent on Wednesday, Hampton, in the semifinals of the MEAC Tournament. The Spartans went on to advance to the CIT last season, before falling to Eastern Kentucky in the first round.

• Hampton is currently 2-2 as of Nov. 27.
• The Pirates have posted wins over American (61-48) and Appalachian State (82-61). HU is 1-2 on the road this season.

NAU will play its first game this season in the Walkup Skydome on Monday, Nov. 30. The Lumberjacks' home opener was played at the Rolle Activity Center, where NAU came away with the 81-65 win over San Diego Christian.
Last season, NAU went 14-2 at home. The Lumberjacks' lone two losses were to UTSA and Weber State. NAU is on a 10-game win streak at home.
