Q: How did you decide that NAU was the right fit for you?

A: When I got to Flagstaff the people here were extremely nice. I liked the scenery and the weather here was a huge plus. With the great coaches I have, I felt like I could make it my home.

Q: What do you think is going to be your biggest hurdle in the transition from high school to college?

A: The biggest hurdle I think I will face is the heavy loads of responsibilities both on and off the court. Being a high school student-athlete is completely different from being a college student-athlete

Q: How did you get started playing basketball?

A: I first started playing basketball when I was two and organized basketball when I was six.

Q: What player do you replicate your game after and why?

A: I replicate my game after Allen Iverson. AI had a one of a kind skill set which was phenomenal for his size. He was always tough and willing to take on any opponent no matter how much of a size difference there may have been.

Q: What's the best advice that someone has ever given you?

A: The best advice I've received was to take advantage of every opportunity. Not a lot of people get to be in the position that I am in today.

Q: What's been your greatest basketball moment so far in your career?

A: My greatest moment in my basketball career was helping my high school team to a come-from-behind win during my junior year. We were down by seven at halftime and I only had five points. I managed to score five points in the third quarter and 21 in the fourth, leading us to a four-point victory.

Q: What does it mean to you to be playing Division I basketball?

A: It's truly a blessing to be playing Division I basketball. Many people have aspirations to be in the position that I am in, and to know that all of the hard work that I have put in is paying off, it feels great.

Q: What have you had to adapt to the most since arriving at college?

A: I have had to adapt mostly to the responsibilities of being independent. My mother is not here to guide me every step of the way anymore, so I have to do things on my own. It was kind of difficult when I first got here, but I'm slowly getting the hang of things in the books and on the court.
