FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Northern Arizona opened the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships today with Royal Black in the men's heptathlon. 

Black sits in eighth after five events with 2624 points. His best finishes came in the long jump where he finished seventh with 6.44m and the high jump where he finished eighth with 1.82m.

The heptathlon wraps up tomorrow morning starting at 10:30 a.m. with the men's 60m hurdles. 

Following the completion of the heptathlon, the Big Sky Championships continue with the women's weight throw at 3 p.m. Running events start at 4 p.m. with the 60m hurdles preliminaries.
