LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Northern Arizona men's tennis team began its two-match weekend in Las Vegas with a matchup against Marquette University. After dropping the doubles point, the Lumberjacks could not recover dropping the 4-3 match to the Golden Eagles 4-3.

The Lumberjacks dropped the doubles point with a loss on court one 6-2 and on court two 6-2 to take the 1-0 lead.

NAU responded with three wins from courts four through six from Alexandre Locci, Felix Schumann and Adi Zilberstein. Locci won on court four over Krtistiyan Trukov 6-3, 7-5 while Schumann won on court five over Andre Romanello 6-4, 6-1 for NAU's second win of the day. For the final win of the day, Zilberstein defeated Gleb Skylr 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 for NAU's final win of the day.

NAU will be back in action tomorrow against UNLV to close out the weekend.
