BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Northern Arizona men's tennis team concluded its four-match week in Bozeman, Mont. for a matchup with Montana State. The Bobcats now have the most wins during conference play (8-2) as they defeated the Lumberjacks 5-2. NAU is now 7-10 this season and 5-2 in the Big Sky.

The Lumberjacks dropped the doubles point for the second straight match as the Bobcats pulled out victories one courts two and three. NAU's Jordan Gobatie and Alexandre Locci were up 5-2 in their match on court one over MSU's Niklas Brandes and Javier Martin-Morillas but was stopped as Montana State had already clinched the doubles point.

Montana State's top-three players stepped up big pulling out wins on courts one through three. Brandes clinched the match for the Bobcats on court three over Locci in a 6-4, 7-5 victory. Kester Black won his fifth straight match in singles on court four with a victory over Kellen Bates 6-3, 6-7, 10-6. NAU's final victory over Montana State came from Felix Schumann on court five in a 6-3, 6-4 win over Dylan Harvala.

NAU now moves to third place in the Big Sky Conference. The Lumberjacks will be back in action on Saturday, April 4, against Sacramento State.
