TUCSON, Ariz. – For the fifth time this season the Northern Arizona women's tennis team went up against a nationally ranked opponent, this time against in-state opponent Arizona. The Lumberjacks struggled throughout the day against the 54^th best team in the country as NAU fell to the Wildcats 7-0 to drop to 2-5 this season.

The Wildcats went into the match with the 15^th best player in the Southwest Region, Lauren Marker, who was undefeated in singles play this season at 8-0. Marker remained undefeated with a 6-0, 6-1 win on court one over Northern Arizona's Johanna Vang.

The Wildcats swept the doubles point with two 6-0 victories on courts one and two. UofA continued its exceptional play into singles sweeping all six matches. Arizona had five sets result in 6-0 wins.

NAU's closest win in a set came on court five as NAU's Livia Hollosy went the distance against Devin Chypyha. After dropping the first set, Hollosy fought back to make it close in the second set but fell to Chypyha 7-6.

Northern Arizona will be back in action this weekend heading to Las Vegas, Nev. for two matches on Saturday and Sunday against UNLV and UC Riverside.
