TEMPE, Ariz. - Brooke Andersen posted a career-best tonight in the premiere section of the women's hammer throw at the Sun Angel Classic. Andersen finished third - first among collegiate competitors - with a distance of 63.30m. 

Andersen's distance ranks first in the Big Sky, third in school history and eighth in the nation. 

Gus Margiotta also had a strong performance in the hammer throw. He finished third in the open section with a career-best distance of 55.95m.
