FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Entering his third season at Northern Arizona University, head men's tennis coach Ki Kroll has added three incoming players to his roster. The past two years under Kroll's reign have set the foundation for a winning culture that attracts talent from all over the world.

"I can't begin to express how excited I am about the new additions to our team," Kroll said. "All three guys are good players that also bring with them a strong work ethic."

Tim Handel

Handel comes from Reutlingen, Germany and stands at 6 feet 3 inches. He was a state champion in both the Men's and Junior State championships in 2013 and 2014 respectively, and is one of Germany's top junior players.

"We were very fortunate to get a player with the athletic ability of Tim Handel," Kroll said. "He is a true competitor and fighter with a very explosive game."

Thomas Fisher

"Tom Fisher is a dedicated player who has a lot to offer," Kroll said. "It's always important to bring in players that fit into the type of program we are trying to build.  Tom is both confident and academically strong- it doesn't get much better than that."

Fisher comes from Sheringham, England and stands at 6 feet tall. He attended Culford and Gresham's Boarding Schools in the United Kingdom where he was a four-sport athlete in tennis, rugby, hockey and cross-country. He was honored with the Gresham Junior Sports Award in 2013 and also reached the last four in the National Schools' Tennis Championships in 2014.

Lucas Taylor

"We were very lucky to get Lucas who had a lot of college interest," Kroll said. "He brings competitive experience, big time talent and has proven he knows how to win."

Taylor comes from London, England and stands at 6 feet 4 inches. At age 14, he attended Reed's School Tennis Academy in Surrey, Germany.  Taylor cracked the top 10 nationally in the UK during 2010.  In 2011, Lucas represented Great Britain in the European Summer Cup, European Junior Championships and the European Winter Cup. In 2013, He competed in the World Schools' Tennis Championships.
