Head coach Jerome Souers enters his 18^th season at the helm of the Northern Arizona football program. Souers and the Lumberjacks have an 11-game regular season schedule that kicks off Saturday, Sept. 5 at Stephen F. Austin.

Souers took some time out of his coaching schedule to sit down with the athletics communications staff and answer a few questions.

1. If you could meet any three celebrities, who would they be? JFK, Dave Matthews, and Gwen Stefani.
2. If you were stuck on a deserted island, what three things would you have to have? My guitar, my black lab Stewart, and my fly-rod.
3. If you were stuck on a deserted island, what three movies would you choose to bring with you? Outlaw Josey Wales, Godfather (The Original), and Dances with Wolves.
4. What's your favorite meal that you can cook? Blackened Salmon Alfredo
5. If you were an animal, what would you be? Bear
6. If you could play any role in a movie, who would you choose? Wind in His Hair – "Dances with Wolves"
7. What actor best describes your personality off the field? Sean Connery
8. What's your favorite quote/motto? Right Way, Every Day
9. What's been your most memorable moment so far as a Lumberjack? Beating No. 1 McNeese State in the 2003 FCS Playoffs
10. What coach on the staff would you want as a teammate? All of them, that's why I hired them!
