17 NAU Lumberjacks Graduate This Fall

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern Arizona University will hold its fall commencement ceremonies today in the Walkup Skydome and as part of the newest group of alumni, 17 Lumberjack student-athletes will officially earn their degrees.
The athletic department held a commencement reception Thursday evening on campus where the fall graduates received their stoles. This fall's class of 2016 includes six all-conference award winners, as nine of 17 holds a 3.00 grade point average or better. Three of this weekend's graduates will graduate with a 3.50 GPA or better. Included in this class is an NCAA National Champion and individual leader, All-Americans, and FCS playoff participants.
The graduating class also volunteered more than 680 hours of community service.
