OGDEN, Utah – A week ahead of senior night, Adrian Nixt had one of her best performances in her career which garnered her second Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week honor announced Oct. 17. The Portland, Ore. native, recorded her first hat-trick, just the fourth Lumberjack to score three goals in a single game.

Nixt recorded seven points in 115 minutes of action against Weber State and Idaho State, helping the 'Jacks to their first victory in four games. Friday night, she assisted junior Mei-Te Coco for the first goal of the game and the lead, before falling to the Wildcats 2-1.

The senior then showed her experience Sunday against Idaho State recording three of the four goals in a shutout performance and the highest scored game for the 'Jacks this season. Nixt scored two in the first 10 minutes and the game-winner in the 47th minute.

She is now one of four Lumberjacks who have scored three goals in a game, the last time was in 2008.

Currently, Nixt leads NAU overall with 17 points, six goals and a career-high five assists so far on the season. With nearly 900 minutes so far this season, Nixt has taken 38 shots landing 18 on goal.

Northern Arizona is now 9-8 overall and 4-4 in the Big Sky with just two games remaining in the regular season. This upcoming weekend the Lumberjacks will host Southern Utah for senior night and faculty appreciation night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Lumberjack Stadium and will be the Lumberjacks' final home game of the season.
