TEMPE, Ariz. – Three Northern Arizona tennis players –
Hanneke Lodewijks,
Brandy Walker and
Adi Zilberstein – were included on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete awards list released on Wednesday. Furthermore, the NAU women's tennis team received the ITA All-Academic Team award.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale). All varsity letter winners are factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
Lodewijks picked up her second career ITA Scholar-Athlete award and holds a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA in exercise science. Speaking of perfection, Walker completed her freshman year with a 4.00 cumulative GPA in marketing.
On the men's side, Zilberstein, a construction management major, earned his third ITA Scholar-Athlete award in as many seasons. He takes a 3.94 cumulative GPA into his senior year.
Lodewijks, Walker and Zilberstein were three of 51 Big Sky tennis players to receive the honor while the NAU women's tennis team was one of 11 team recipients. This past academic year, the Lumberjack women had six Golden Eagle Scholar-Athlete award winners and three Big Sky All-Academic selections.
