PALM DESERT, Calif. - Northern Arizona University's Emma Reyes and Loren Skibba competed in the first and second rounds of Wyoming University's Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. on Saturday.

After two rounds of play, Skibba sits in a tie for 50th with a 20-over performance. She shot an 80 to open the event and followed it with an 84 in the second round.

Reyes is currently in a tie for 60th with a 25-over showing. She started the day with a 89 and improved nine strokes to shoot an 80 in the following round.

The course plays at 6097 yards and is a par-72.

The two are the only Lumberjacks in competition this weekend. They are playing as individuals to get some more work in during the fall campaign.

Emma and Loren will conclude the tournament tomorrow, with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. MST.
