MOSCOW, Idaho (October 18, 2019) – Northern Arizona University women's soccer (7-6-2, 3-2-1 Big Sky) found its seventh win of the season against the University of Idaho (3-11-2, 0-4-2 Big Sky), posting a 2-1 win with the game-winning goal by
Emma Robson in the 71st minute.
"What a fight tonight! Credit to Idaho for a great battle," head coach
Kylie Louw said. "Incredible team win on the road and I am so proud of every single person on this team. They all stepped up for each other and came up with the result."
The Lumberjacks have now outshot their opponents for eight games in a row. Tonight, NAU took six total shots against the Vandals, with three on-goal. Idaho took four shots, half being on-goal. The 'Jacks continue to remain on top in the Big Sky for shots with 106.
Sam Larberg scored her first goal of the season during tonight's match just ten minutes into the first half, with
Tatum Heeres assisting. This marks as Heeres' third season assist.
In the 60th minute, Idaho's Taylor Brust scored off of an unassisted free kick. The 'Jacks and the Vandals remained tied for 12 minutes until Robson scored the game-winning goal in the 71st minute, posting her second goal of the season.

Rylie Curran and
Whitney Winans also took shots for the Lumberjacks. Both Coco and Winans recorded one while Curran took two with one on-goal.
Taryn Benham recorded one save during the match in the first half. Benham shutout the Vandals in the second.
The Lumberjacks will head to Cheney, Wash. to play against their last Big Sky Conference road opponent, Eastern Washington (7-5-2, 4-0-1 Big Sky), on Sunday, Oct. 20, starting at 12 p.m. MST.
