Tim Handel is Ranked No. 71 in the Oracle/ITA Men’s Tennis National Ranking

Tim Handel has moved up to the No. 71 nationally ranked singles player in the Oracle/ITA Division 1 Men's Rankings. This is the senior's highest ranking on the season, as he was ranked 72nd on April 16.
Handel broke into the Oracle/ITA rankings on March 5, where he came in at No. 119 in the country. Since then, Handel has fallen in and out of the Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Rankings until he moved back into the rankings on April 2 at No. 80 in the country, and now sits at 71.
Handel has had an impressive senior year in singles as he is 21-1 on the season and a perfect 10-0 in the Big Sky. The 21 wins lead both the 'Jacks, as well as the Big Sky Conference. The senior's presence at the No. 1 position has helped NAU to a 22-6 record on the season and a Big Sky Championship.
Handel will be back in action with the Lumberjacks on Friday, May 3 against USC in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The senior has also been selected to compete in the 2019 NCAA Division 1 Men's Championships between May 25 and the 30 in Orlando, Fla. The championship will be made up of the top 64 players in the country.
