Lumberjack Volleyball Announces Coaching Additions

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (January 29, 2024) – Northern Arizona University head volleyball coach Ken Murphy announced the additions of two members to the coaching staff today. 
 
Lauren Conati - Assistant Coach 
 
Lauren Conati joins the Lumberjacks as an assistant coach. Conati played as setter at California State University, Northridge from 2014-2018 and was a four year starter. She also captained the Matadors her junior and senior season. Conati had over 1,000 career assists her senior year and is ranked fourth in all-time career assists with the Matadors. 
 
Conati also played beach volleyball for the Matadors for three seasons and was on the winningest beach pair her senior year. 

Conati coached four years of club volleyball at the Revolution Volleyball Academy in Phoenix, Ariz., and was the assistant coach for the 18 Premier teams, 17 Premier teams, and 15 Premier teams. 

A native of Phoenix, Ariz., Conati graduated in 2018 from California State University, Northridge with a degree in UI/UX Design and was an eight time all Big West Scholar Athlete. 

Reagan Leonard - Graduate Assistant

Reagan Leonard has been added to the coaching staff as a graduate assistant. Leonard played as libero at Fresno State from 2017-2021.
 
With the Bulldogs, Leonard ranks sixth in program history with 1,277 digs and fourth in program history with 3.68 digs per set. Leonard holds the program record in digs in a match with 38 and the program record in digs during a season with 607 during the 2018 campaign. She also captained the team her sophomore through senior year. Leonard was on the All-Mountain West first team in 2019 and was an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention in 2018. Leonard led the Bulldogs to its first postseason conference appearance in program history since 2002 in 2018. 

Leonard coached at Revolution Volleyball Academy in Phoenix, Ariz., working with the 12 Premier and 15 Premier teams in 2022 and the 16 Premier teams in 2023. Leonard was also the Centennial High School Varsity volleyball coach and also led Sunnyside High School boys volleyball team to first championship in 2021. 

A native of Glendale, Ariz., Leonard was an eight time Mountain West scholar athlete and graduated with a bachelor of science in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies with a minor in history.
