FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (October 14, 2025)Â -Â The Northern Arizona volleyball team will play two road matches this week, facing Eastern Washington on Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. MST and Idaho on Oct. 18 at 12 p.m. MST. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The Lumberjacks are coming off home wins over Portland State (3-1) and Sacramento State (3-2). Those contests marked the first sets NAU has dropped at home this season, but they remain undefeated in Flagstaff with eight straight home victories.
Eastern Washington enters the week with a 2-15 overall record, earning its only wins against Pacific (3-2) and Seattle (3-2). The Eagles are still seeking their first Big Sky Conference win of the season.
Last year, NAU and EWU split their matchups. The Eags won 3-1 in Cheney, while the 'Jacks responded with a 3-0 sweep in Flagstaff.
Eastern Washington leads the all-time series 41-36, dating back to 1986. Live stats for Thursday's match can be found here.
Northern Arizona opened its 2025 Big Sky Conference slate against Idaho at home in late September, sweeping the Vandals 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-15).
UI currently holds a 413 overall record and is 1-4 in conference play. The Vandals are coming off a road trip that featured their first Big Sky win since 2022, and their first sweep in conference play since 2021, over Eastern Washington in Cheney.
