CHENEY, Wash. (October 24th, 2025) – The Northern Arizona women's soccer team conceded a season-high four goals in a 4-0 loss to Eastern Washington on Friday afternoon in Big Sky Conference action.
The Lumberjack (4-5-7, 1-3-3 Big Sky) offense struggled to find momentum through the first 45, as the Eagles (7-6-4, 3-3-1 Big Sky) held a 10-4 advantage in shots in first frame. NAU got two shots on goal in the 26th and 36th minutes.
Micala Boex and
Avery Ott led NAU in shots for the game, taking four and three, respectively.
Eastern Washington's first scorer of the afternoon, Audrey Schlotfeldt, put her lone shot of the match in the back of the net off a corner in the seventh minute, while Kendall Moore would be credited with the Eagles' other score of the first half in the 40th minute for the 2-0 halftime lead.
EWU took the first shot in the second stanza in the 47th minute, but the Lumberjacks did not allow another shot on goal until the Eagles' third score in the 61st minute as Ryanna Ampi and Delani Walker connected with Dakota Harris for the goal.
The Eagles continued with pressure, following with a goal from Bella Bunnage off assists from Walker and Noelle Raczykowski in the 64th minute.
After Bunnage's score, NAU persisted, taking the final nine of 13 shots for the contest.
NAU will close the regular season at Idaho on Sunday in Moscow. Kickoff is scheduled for noon Mountain Standard Time and will be streamed on ESPN+.
