NAU Soccer Set for Semifinals Against Weber State

MISSOULA, Mont. (November 6, 2025) – The No. 6 Northern Arizona women's soccer team is set to meet No. 2 Weber State in the semifinals of the Big Sky Championships tomorrow morning.
The Lumberjacks will kick off against the Wildcats in Missoula, Montana on Friday, Nov. 7. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. Mountain Standard time and will be streamed on

NAU moved past No. 3 Eastern Washington in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, as
Avery Ott and
Valerie Llamas scored two answered goals and the backline held an aggressive Eagles offense scoreless in the second half for a 2-1 win. NAU last reached the semifinals in 2023, when it eventually fell in the title match to Idaho, 2-1.
Ott leads the team in goals (eight), with
Micala Boex leading in points (20) by way of seven goals and six assists.
Northern Arizona began this season with the goalies in rotation, with freshman
Reece Reichwald earning 14 starts between the posts as she accumulated a 1.27 GAA and 0.813 save percentage.
Lexi Saveski has earned the last two starts for NAU, starting at Idaho where she collected her first career shutout. Saveski made five saves in the win over Eastern Washington while playing all 90 minutes.
NAU and Weber State met on Oct. 17 during the regular season, playing to a 1-1 draw.
Micala Boex provided the lone score for the 'Jacks in the 13th minute. The Lumberjacks lead the all-time series 8-5-6, and last met Weber State in the Big Sky Championships in 2022 when they took a 4-2 win in penalty kicks to advance to the title game.
The Wildcats earned the No. 2 seed and bye to the semifinals after recording an 11-6-1 mark during the regular season to include a 5-2-1 record in league play. Grace Kirby leads the offense with seven goals and five assists. Lauren Butorac has spent the most time in goal as she has stacked five shutouts with a 1.00 GAA and 0.769 save percentage.
