Northern Arizona Swimming and Diving Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Award for Spring 2025

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (July 9, 2025) - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the selection of the Northern Arizona Swimming and Diving squads for the Scholar All-America award for the Spring 2025 semester.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester. In total, 18,459 student-athletes were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

The Lumberjacks held a 3.76 GPA during the Spring 2025 semester.

"Our student-athletes continue to shine in and out of the pool," head swimming coach Andy Johns said. "With a team GPA of 3.76 and 14 individuals with a 4.0, this past semester is one of the best all-time in the classroom.  We are so proud of their efforts and results and thankful to our student-athlete development team who helps support them in being their very best."

Northern Arizona tied for the 13th highest in the country, and topped the Western Athletic Conference. Additionally, they were the highest-ranking team in the state of Arizona.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
