FARMINGTON, Utah (August 22, 2025) – Following a vote by the league's head coaches, Northern Arizona volleyball redshirt junior
Hanah Stoddard was named to the Big Sky Preseason All-Conference Team ahead of the 2025 season.
Stoddard is the Big Sky's returning leader in kills per set after averaging 3.09 per set last fall. Her kills average placed her sixth overall. In conference play, Stoddard ranked seventh in the Big Sky with 3.25 kills per set.
Stoddard recorded double-digit kills in 17 matches last season with a season-high of 20 against Eastern Washington. She also tallied nine double-double performances.

She enters her third season as a Lumberjack with 545 career kills, putting her on pace to join the 1,000 kill club.
In addition to the Preseason All-Conference Team, the 2025 Big Sky Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll was released with NAU tying for seventh. The Lumberjacks did pick up a first-place vote for the first time since 2021.
Weber State is the preseason favorite, receiving half of the 10 first-place votes. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team. Northern Colorado, last season's regular season champion, was voted second.
The Lumberjacks tied for sixth in 2024 with a 7-9 conference record. NAU posted a 14-14 overall record, including an 8-3 mark at home in the Rolle Activity Center.
