FARMINGTON, Utah (Sep. 16, 2025) – NAU women's soccer forward Micala Boex has earned Big Sky Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. She is the second Lumberjack to receive a weekly laurel from the league this season, joining Avery Ott who was named Offensive Player of the Week on Sep. 2.

The award follows a 1-0-1 week for the Lumberjacks who wrapped up a five-game stretch of matches away from Flagstaff, beating Southern Utah 2-0 last Thursday and drawing Utah Tech 2-2 on Sunday.

The junior led NAU's offensive charge in both matches, tallying one goal and one assist in each contest. She leads the team in goals (five), assists (four), and points (14). She has scored at least one point in five of eight matches this season, collecting her fifth multi-point game this past Sunday against Utah Tech.

NAU returns to the pitch on Thursday, Sep. 18 as it welcomes Grand Canyon to Lumberjack Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. MST and will be streamed on ESPN+.
