LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2026) - Northern Arizona closed out competition Sunday at the Bruin Diving Invitational, turning in multiple strong performances on the platform against a deep, nationally competitive field.
The Lumberjacks were led by Mackenna Stocker, who finished fourth overall in the women's platform finals with a score of 486.15, narrowly missing the podium. Stocker advanced to finals after placing eighth in prelims with a score of 229.90, setting up a strong closing day for NAU.
Grace Wesche also earned a spot in the finals, placing ninth with a total score of 449.75. Wesche qualified earlier in the meet with an 11th-place finish in prelims, scoring 223.50.
Northern Arizona placed three divers inside the top 15 during preliminary competition, as Margaret Wesche finished 15th with a score of 220.05. Kirsten Clark rounded out NAU's platform contingent, gaining valuable experience in a large national field.
The three-day meet featured programs from UCLA, Utah, UNLV, California Baptist, Iowa, San Diego State, Hawaiʻi, USC and Idaho, providing the Lumberjacks with top-tier competition as they begin to look ahead to the MPSF Conference Championships in February.
Looking ahead, Northern Arizona will head to Albuquerque, New Mexico for a head-to-head on Jan. 24.
