FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 11, 2026) -Â The Northern Arizona divers completed the final day of the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships, competing in the platform event.
Mackenna Stocker was the top finisher for the Lumberjacks, qualifying in ninth place in the preliminary round with a score of 235.75. The top 18 divers advanced to the finals out of a total of 39 competitors. In the final, Stocker scored 455.20 to place 12th in her final career meet.
Margaret Wesche also qualified for the finals, scoring 221.35 to claim the final qualifying spot in 18th place. She moved up to 15th in the finals after scoring 445.55.
Grace Wesche scored 209.10, placing 25th in the preliminary round. She qualified for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships next week in Atlanta with her stellar performance in the 3-meter event yesterday, where she finished fourth.
"I thought we did a great job again today," head diving coach Nikki Kelsey said. "We had two make the finals and, you know, Mack Stocker -Â she was staying in the hunt there for a little bit, so that was really great to see. I'm just really happy they still got up there and competed. There are some real 10-meter specialists here, and we still did some great dives. I just couldn't be more proud of all of them over all three days."
Stanford's Ellie Cole dominated the platform event, scoring 677.50. Cole is a top Australian 10-meter platform specialist who finished seventh at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. She finished 119.70 points ahead of UCLA's Eden Cheng, who is also an Olympian representing Great Britain.
