Allison Veloz Called Up to U23 Mexican National Team Camp

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (April 7, 2026) – Former Northern Arizona soccer forward Allison Veloz has been called up to the U23 Mexican National Team Camp, Head Coach Alan Berrios announced Tuesday morning.
Veloz will be representing Mexico in upcoming friendly matches, with the opportunity to earn more call-ups in the future.

"Allie's dedication and work ethic have always set her apart, and it's no surprise to see her earn this opportunity at such a high level." Berrios said. "Congratulations, Allie! Lumberjack Nation is so proud of you!"

Veloz played for NAU for two years after transferring from Long Beach City College, and was a part of the 2022 Big Sky Regular Season and Tournament Champions team. Following her senior season in 2023, she was named First Team All-Conference as well as to the All-Tournament Team as she tallied a team-best seven goals and 14 points, including four game-winning goals.

The native of Corona, Calif. has previously achieved professional success on the pitch, as she signed a professional contract in 2024 with Club Necaxa in Liga MX Femenil.
