2012: Continued his reign as NAU's top male long sprinter in his second season ... During the entire indoor season he was the Big Sky Conference's leader in the 400-meter dash, culminating with his first individual conference title (47.01@) at the Big Sky Indoor Championships and a ranking nationally of 33rd ... Helped the NAU 4x400-meter relay squad notch second-place at the conference meet as well ... Had a late start to the outdoor season due to injury, but peaked at the right time in running a personal-best time of 46.82@ at Big Sky Outdoors, good enough for a second conference title ... Captured his second Big Sky title of the meet by anchoring the 4x400-meter relay once again ... Finished out his season at the NCAA West Preliminary Round with the same relay, where they finished 19th in a time of 3:11.42.
2011: Had a sensational freshman year in both the indoor and outdoor seasons, leading or co-leading the Lumberjacks in a total of five categories between the two ... Placed in three events at the Big Sky Indoor Championships, including a runner-up finish in the 400-meter dash (47.59), third place in the 200m (21.98), and a title as part of the 4x400m relay team ... Continued his momentum into the outdoor season, where he again notched a trio of top-three places at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships ... Was again part of the conference-champion 4x400-meter relay team, placed second in the 400-meter dash with a personal-best time of 47.10, and took third in the 400-meter hurdles (53.18) ... Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims, where he advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 400-meter dash (47.52) and ended the season ranked No. 23 in the region.
High School: Graduated from Dar Al Uloom High School in Saudi Arabia in 2008 … Qualified for the IAAF World Youth Championships in 2007 in the 400-meter dash, 800-meter run and 400-meter hurdles … In 2008, participated in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Senior Championship in Qatif, finishing third in the 400m (48.24) and fourth in the 400mH (53.42) … At the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Youth Championship in Riyadh, claimed first place in the 800m (1:54.55) … Reached the semifinals of the World Juniors in the 400m/h in 2008 … Saudi Youth champion in 2006, 2007 and Junior champion in 2008 in 400m and 400m/h … Personal best times include 47.54 (400m), 52.60 (400mH) and 1:54.55 (800m).
