2011: Burst onto the Big Sky scene after redshirting his freshman year, scoring at each Big Sky championship event … At the outdoor competition from Sacramento, Calif., he placed fourth overall in the long jump with a leap of 23 feet, 10.75 inches (7.28m) … Recorded a career-best jump in the event at the Willie Williams Invite, cracking 24 feet for the first time ever (7.32m) … In his first Big Sky event, placed second overall in the long jump at the indoor championships after leaping 23 feet, 11.75 inches … Also competed in the high jump at the indoor championships, and best high jump of the year came at the NAU Team Challenge (1.95m/6-4.75).

High School: Graduated from Independence High School in 2009 ... Lettered four years in track and field and three in basketball ... State champion in the 4A-1 long jump senior year ... Holds three records at his high school, including points scored in a season for basketball (612), long jump (22-11) and high jump (6-6) ... In 2009, made 1st team all-region for basketball, and was a part of the 4A all-state basketball team ... Slam Dunk Champion at the Arizona Prep Fall Showcase in 2008.
