2014: A strong contributor for the women's throws unit... Finished fifth in the shot put at the Big Sky Indoor Championships thanks to a season-best performance of 48-0.75(14.65m)... Did not compete during the outdoor season
2013: Upped her personal best in the shot put by more than a foot, tossing 49-4.25 at the Mountain T's Invitational ... The mark was the third-best in the Big Sky Conference during the indoor season ... Closed out sophomore campaign with a bronze medal at Big Sky Indoors (48-4) ... Redshirted during the outdoor season.
2012: Was the Lumberjacks' second best shot putter during the indoor season, snagging a then-personal best in her best outing at the Mountain T's Invitational (45-3.5) ... Scored at her first-career Big Sky Indoor Championships in the shot put with a seventh overall finish (44-7.5) ... Led the team in both the shot put and discus during the outdoor season ... Uncorked new personal best marks of 48-1.25 in the shot put and 151-11 in the discus at the SUU Dual ... Snagged her first all-conference honor with a third-place mark in the shot put at Big Sky Outdoors, while scoring in the discus with a fourth-place finish.
2011: Did not compete during indoor season (redshirt) ... Capped a sensational freshman campaign with a fifth-place finish in the shot put at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships (46-02) ... Competed in five regular season events for the Lumberjacks in the shot put and discus, and she returns this season with the best team marks in both events ... Best discus mark came at the ASU Invite with a throw of 147-02 and a ninth-place finish ... Achieved a personal and team season best in the shot put at the first meet of the outdoor season, throwing 48-10.75 in a fourth-place effort at the Willie Williams Classic.
High School: Graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2010 … Played four sports in high school, including volleyball, swimming, basketball and track and field … Was the CBBN field event athlete of the year in 2008 and 2010 … In 2008, was first team all-league in the discus, and third-team all-league in the shot put … Was a three-time regional shot put champion (2008-10), and a double district champion in the discus and shot put (2009-10) … A three-time state championship meet participant and 2010 discus champion … Holds the Eisenhower discus record with a 137, six inch throw in 2010 … Also lettered four years on the women’s basketball team, averaging 11.7 points and 9.5 rebounds her senior season … A member of the National Honors Society.
Personal: Born to Anthony and Marie Bush on Sept. 20, 1991 … Has a younger sister, Rachel … Also considered the Air Force Academy, Idaho, Washington, Washington State, Sacramento State, Brown and Idaho State before choosing NAU.
