2013 Track & Field: Had an outstanding sophomore campaign both indoors and outdoors ... Ran a personal best in the 3,000 meters at the Big Sky Indoor Championships with a fourth-place finish and a time of 8:15.81@ ... Earned a bronze medal at the same meet, his first-career All-Big Sky honor, in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:34.79@ ... During the outdoor season, he ran a 16-second personal best in the 10,000 meters (30:16.03) at the Mt. SAC Relays ... Season best in the 5,000 meters came at the Stanford Invitational (14:39.42) ... Grabbed silver in the 10,000 meters at Big Sky Outdoors (31:09.39) and took ninth in the 5,000 meters (14:47.60) to close his second year at NAU.
2012 Cross Country: Started off his first cross country campaign in style, notching Top-10s at the George Kyte Classic (third) and the Pac-12 Preview (ninth), scoring to aid in NAU victories at both meets ... Narrowly missed all-conference honors at the Big Sky Championships, finishing 12th overall and sixth on the team in a time of 25:48.8 ... Competed in his first NCAA Championships after fighting through injury the week before to make the trip, finishing 214th overall.
2012 Track & Field: Started his NAU track career indoors, achieving a personal-best in the 3,000 meters at the Mountain T's Invite in a time of 8:26.26@ ... Continued to improve, eclipsing his old personal-best mile mark by running a 4:11.47@ to place fourth at the NAU Invite ... Was the Lumberjacks’ second-best athlete in the 10,000 meters and fourth-best in the 5,000 meters during the outdoor season ... Had his best showing in the 5K at the San Francisco Distance Carnival, running 14:27.36 ... Season-best mark of 30:29.11@ in the 10K came at the Big Sky Championships in Bozeman, Mont. ... Scored in both events at Big Sky Outdoors by placing sixth in the 5K and 10K.
