Academic Notes: 2010 and 2012 All-Academic Big Sky selection … Majoring in animal biology. 

Personal Bests: 45-5 (13.84m) SP, 211-9 (64.55m) HT, 66-2.5 (20.18m) WT

2014: Had a stellar senior indoor season, rewriting the NAU record books in the weight throw event all season... Threw a career-best and NAU school record 66-2.5 (20.18m) in the weight throw at the Don Kirby Elite... Helped the Lumberjack women to a Big Sky Indoor team championship with a second place finish in the women's weight throw... Currently holds the top-3 marks in school history for the weight throw event... Carried the momentum built during the indoor season over to the outdoor season... Threw a career-best and NAU school record 211-9 in the women's hammer throw at the Texas Relays... Finished up her Big Sky career with a title in the hammer throw in addition to being awarded Most Outstanding Female Athlete... Competed at the NCAA West Prelim finishing fourth in the hammer throw to advance to Oregon for NCAA Final...

2013: Had a very productive sophomore season... Competed at the Big Sky Indoor Championships where she finished second in the women's weight throw as she threw for 62-10.75 which was a season-best and the second best throw in the Big Sky all season... Carried over momentum from the indoor season to the outdoor season as she won a Big Sky Championship in the hammer throw, throwing 58.73m (192-08)... Performed a season-best 201'8" in the hammer throw at the ASU-UA-NAU Tri-Dual meet which was the best mark registered by anyone in the Big-Sky all season... All-Big Sky honoree in both the indoor and outdoor seasons... Big Sky champion in the women's weight throw event

2012: Came off redshirt season strong, beginning indoors as the No. 2 NAU athlete in the weight throw ... Best performance of the indoor season came at the Big Sky Championships, where she tossed 59-6.25 (18.14m) to finish fourth ... Saw immense success in the outdoor campaign as the top hammer thrower for the Lumberjacks ... Tied for first place in the hammer throw at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships to garner her second-career All-Big Sky honor with a throw of 196-02 (59.79m), breaking her previous personal record by nearly eight feet and breaking NAU's school record by eight inches.

2011: Redshirt season.

2010: Finished stellar freshman campaign with 40th-place finish at the NCAA West Region Prelims (52.42m/171-11.75) … Held the No. 26 ranking in the hammer throw going into the West Prelims … Took second place in the hammer throw at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships when she recorded a mark of 181 feet (55.17m) … Season-best throw of 188 feet, 3.25 inches in the hammer throw came at the Mesa Classic … Scored first Big Sky points with a sixth-place finish (17.76m/58-3) in the weight throw at the indoor championships from Bozeman, Mont. … The 58 foot throw at the conference championships was a season-best … Best indoor mark in the shot put came at the NAU Team Challenge (12.03m/39-5.5).

High School:  Graduated from Smithers Secondary School in 2009 ... A member of the track and field, alpine skiing, basketball and volleyball teams in high school ... In 2008 won silver medal in the hammer throw (43.76m) at the Canadian Youth National Athletic Championships ... Collected seven total medals from various championship events, including three gold medals in the hammer throw ... In 2009 was a triple gold medalist in the hammer, discus and shot put at the B.C. High School Track & Field Championships ... Gold medal winner in the hammer (50.36m) at the Lethbridge Throws Gala ... Won the B.C. high school alpine skiing championships in 2008. 

Personal: Born on Nov. 16, 1991 to Jim and Maureen Stuart ... Father, Jim, played hockey at the University of British Columbia.
