Academic Notes: Majoring in fitness wellness
2016 Cross Country: All Big Sky...USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree....Big Sky All-Academic team honoree...Started off the year strong with back-to-back second-place finishes at the George Kyte Classic (22:39.4) and Sycamore Invitational (25:06)...Came in 20th at the Nuttycombe Invitational (24:19.5)...Ran to a fourth-place showing at the Big Sky Championships (24:32)...Finished sixth at the NCAA Mountain Regionals with a time of 30:59.9...Came in 84th at the NCAA National Championships (30:46.4), helping to clinch the first national championship for not only NAU in cross country, but in school history.
2015 Cross Country: Started off the season very strong, becoming the top finisher for NAU at George Kyte (first overall), the Cowboy Jamboree (fifth overall) and Adidas Invitational (38th overall) … Earned all-conference recognition for his performance at Big Sky Championships … Competed at NCAA Mountain Regions but injured his lower body during the race and was unable to finish
2014 Cross Country: Redshirted his sophomore season
Before NAU: Competed in cross country for one year at the University of Michigan
High School: Lettered four years in cross country and three years in track & field at Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas High School ... Holds school records in the 1600m, 3200m and cross country ... State champion in the 1600m ... Team was the state runner-up
