2020-21 (Senior): Had two first place finishes in the 2021 WAC Championships, one individual event and one relay... In the 400 medley relay, swam in the third leg and helped NAU finish first with a time of 3:42.82... Earned first individual gold medal ever in the 200 fly with a time of 2:01.63... Broke previous record best time in the 200 fly prelims with a time of 2:00.01... Earned a silver medal in the 100 fly with a new record best time of 54.88... Finished 7th in the 200 IM (2:05.49). 

2019-20 (Junior): Earned new record best time in 100 fly (54.97) and 200 fly (2:00.65) at 2020 WAC Championship… Also swam in the 200 IM at WAC Championships, finishing in 2:05.77…  swam in the third leg of the 400 medley relay to finish first at 3:40.99.

2018-2019 (Sophomore): Swam in 100 and 200 butterfly and 200 IM at the WAC Championships... Swam in B final in 200 IM recording a time of 2:05.30... Placed 11th in B final for 100 butterfly with for a season-best time of 55.62... Earned second in 200 fly with a new season-best time of 2:01.21. 

2017-18 (Freshman): Swam in 100 and 200 butterfly and 200 IM at the WAC Championships...Swam in C Final and recorded a season-best time of 57.04 in the 100 Fly...Swam in C final and recorded a season-best time of 2:04.82 in the 200 Fly...Swam in C final and recorded a season-best time of 2:07.44 in the 200 IM...Totaled one top-three finish during the season...Placed second in the 200 Fly versus Idaho.

High School: Four-year letterwinner and one-year team captain at Basha HS...Placed fifth at the Division I State Championships in the 200 individual medley (2:08.07) as a senior…Also placed eighth in the 100 butterfly (57.21)…Qualified for the state championships all four years…Named team MVP in 2014, 2015 and 2016…Ranked in USA Swimming’s Top 100 in 50, 100 and 200 butterfly from 2011-13…Age group state champion in 2014 in 100 and 200 butterfly…Holds school records in the 100 butterfly, 200 individual medley, 200 and 400 freestyle relays and 200 medley relay…Also swam for Scottsdale Aquatic Club team…4.02 (weighted) and 3.54 (unweighted) high school GPA…USA Swimming Scholastic All-American…Four-year Academic Scholar.

Personal: Madison Marie Seidl was born March 9 in Gilbert, Ariz....Daughter of Michael and Janet Seidl…Two younger sisters, Kylie and Hailey…Hobbies include hiking, traveling and climbing…Lists most exciting event as watching her club teammate win an Olympic bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics…Chose NAU because she loved the team, the atmosphere and Flagstaff.
