2020-21 (Junior): Received first NCAA Zone bid on Feb. 5 on the 1-meter after scoring 281.75… Earned a silver medal at the 2021 WAC Championships in the 3-meter, recording 279.00 points… Also competed in the 1-meter prelims in the championships, finishing 14th with 201.90… On platform, had a sixth place finish in finals with 190.65 points… Fourth place in platform prelims with 192.70… Dove for the first time since her freshman year on Jan. 23 against GCU… Had top-three finishes in both events against the ‘Lopes… In the 1-meter, tallied 260.55 points, and had her first-ever second-place finish as a Lumberjack… Placed 3rd in the three with 267.30 points… Recorded season best platform score in tri-meet against SDSU and Idaho with 196.80 points.

2019-20 (Sophomore): Did not compete. 

2018-19 (Freshman): Competed at the WAC Championships on the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform... Placed 13th in the B finals for 1-meter with a score of 227.25... 12th in the B finals for 3-meter with 237.25... Took 17th in the prelims for the platform with a score of 168.75.

High School: Attended Coconino High School...Dove for Northern Arizona Divers and was coached by NAU diving coach Nikki Huffman…Holds career-best scores of 363.15 on 1-meter (10 dives) and 389.35 on 3-meter (nine dives)...Earned the gold medal on 1-meter and silver medal on 3-meter at 2018 AAU Arizona District/National Qualifier Meet...Finalist at Flagstaff Sports Institute Champions of the Mountain...Placed eighth at the 2017 AAU National Championships in 3-meter synchro...Two-time competitor at USA Diving Junior Region 11 Championships...Competed at 2017 USA Diving Zone F Meet on 1-meter and 3-meter...Also has earned multiple awards in equestrian...3.9 high school GPA...National Honor Society...Coconino Institute of Technology STEM graduate.

Personal: Alyssa Marie Jones was born Sept. 19 in Flagstaff, Ariz....Daughter of Jeff and Laura Jones…One younger sister, Brianna…Both of her parents graduated from NAU...Enjoys equestrian...Lists most memorable athletic moment as qualifying for AAU National Championships…Chose NAU because she could remain with Coach Huffman, the beautiful facilities, great teammates and numerous academic opportunities.
