Junior (2019-20): Named to Academic All-WAC… Swam in the 200 butterfly (2:01.79 - fourth) and 200 IM (2:03.83 - fifth), 400 IM (4:19.56 - second) at the 2020 WAC Championships… Recorded a new best time in the 200 fly… Tied for first in the 24th annual Pentathlon with Haley Mayhew.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Swam in 200 butterfly, 200 IM and 400 IM at WAC Championships... Broke previous year's records at WAC... Finished third in 200 butterfly with a time of 2:02.09... Fifth in 200 IM with 2:02.22... Second in 400 IM at 4:17.12... Also swam at NIC in 200 butterfly, 200 IM and 400 IM... Placed 36th in 200 butterfly with a time of 2:08.14... 38th in 200 IM at 2:06.44 and 25th in 400 IM at 4:28.18.

2017-18 (Freshman): Earned two All-WAC second team honors at WAC Championships...Swam in 200 butterfly and 200 and 400 IM at the WAC Championships...Finished sixth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:23.87...Finished sixth in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:04.07...Advanced to the B Final and finished 11th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.76...Recorded season-best times of 2:03.18 in the 200 Fly, 2:03.27 in the 200 IM and 4:21.14 in the 400 IM at the Texas Invitational...Also recorded season-best times of 1:06.16 in the 100 Breast and 2:22.39 in the 200 Breast versus New Mexico...Placed 19th in the 400 IM at the Texas Invitational...Won the Pentathlon with 3,720 points...Totaled 19 top-three finishes with five individual wins and two relay wins during the season.

High School: Placed first in the 400 individual medley Target Tokyo final at the Olympic Trials in 2016 with a time of 4:51.44…Also was a finalist in the Target Tokyo 200 individual medley…National finalist in the 200 and 400 individual medley in 2016…Finalist in the 400 individual medley at 2015 British Championships.

Personal: Niamh Elizabeth McDonagh was born Aug. 1 in Stockton-on-Tees, England...Daughter of John and Jacqueline McDonagh…Two sisters, Megan and Faye, and one brother, Aidan…Hobbies include art and watching movies…Lists most memorable athletic moment as winning the Target Tokyo 400 individual medley final at Olympic Trials…Chose NAU because of the location, the facilities and it was a great opportunity to study overseas.
