Why did you choose NAU?

I was drawn to NAU initially by the beautiful forests, captivating mountains, and seemingly endless outdoor opportunities that this place holds. On my visit here I felt that my lifestyle and values aligned really well with the program’s; I liked the healthy team environment and the ability of the women’s team to have fun while chasing lofty goals. I saw an opportunity to help the program continue being competitive both within the Big Sky Conference and nationally. Additionally, I noticed the coaching staff was not only knowledgeable about training, but they also truly cared about their athletes. After meeting the team, Coach Pflugrad, Coach Cornfield, and Coach Smith I knew that NAU would be a great place for me to grow as a person while pursuing athletic and academic goals.
