Swimming Walk-on Policy
Upon initial contact from PSA, we will assess their ability either by their own self-reporting of best times and/or a search through the USA Swimming database. If they have times that would enable them to be a contributor at the conference meet level, we may offer them a roster spot. If they do not meet the standards, or if we feel that our roster is full and we do not have room for additional athletes, they are offered the opportunity to join the USA Swimming club team or join the master’s group.

Generally speaking, we only have recruited walk-ons and we do not offer try-outs once school begins. Membership in the club team is an ideal situation for us to assess their abilities and commitment level through an entire season. We then decide if a roster spot is warranted in the spring after the conference championship meet or the following fall.
