Northern Arizona University Athletic Training Education Program offers students an opportunity to earn a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree (MS-AT). Through the means of rigorous course work and extensive hands on experience in the athletic training field, students are prepared to not only pass the certification exam, but to become successful health care practitioners that continually produce positive outcomes for their patients.
Clinical Preceptors (CP) are athletic trainers working in the clinical setting. CP's help provide educational experiences to the MS-AT students. The CP's role is to help transfer the knowledge and skills the students learn in the classroom to clinical practice and real time situations. CP's will be available at each clinical site and/or rotation to work one-on-one with each MS-AT student.
