The NAU Tennis Center is open to all NAU students, faculty, staff, alumni, the Flagstaff Community and visitors. Our state of the art tennis center hosts six indoor tennis courts, with the addition of six lighted outdoor courts. Tennis is the sport of a lifetime; one that can be learned at all ages and the Tennis Center provides the opportunity to play year-round.
The NAU Tennis center is home to the NAU Lumberjack Men's and Women's Division I Tennis Teams. The Center was built with the primary intent of accommodating the needs of the varsity teams, which includes practice, individual player workouts and competitions. Although serving the teams' requirements are the first priority, the facility will also provide access to students, faculty, staff, alumni, the Flagstaff community and visitors to schedule court-playing time through a court reservation system. Other offerings will include, but not be limited to: club tennis, intramurals, university based tennis classes, camps, tournaments, individual and group lessons, and socials fund-raisers.
Special priority and membership rates are available to all NAU Faculty, Staff & Alumni and their family members. Alumni should have received a degree from NAU, and also be a current member of the NAU Alumni Association. Tennis players outside the NAU community are welcome to take part in all the activities the Tennis Center has to offer and are permitted to acquire court time for a nominal fee. Tennis camps, adult & junior clinics, private lessons and socials are offered throughout the year, for players of all ages and skill levels.
The center is open year-round excluding national holidays and NAU institutional breaks. Proper attire and tennis shoes are required to play in the facility. For more information on Membership or reserving court time please call (928) 523-1660.
The NAU Tennis Center only accepts Visa and MasterCard for payment. Cash is not accepted!
